Hi everyone,

My name is Alisha—I’m a speech pathologist by day and a hopeful mama who is full of love and a dream I refuse to give up on.

For the past 8 years, I’ve been on a journey that’s tested every part of me—emotionally, physically, and financially. As someone who helps others find their voice every day, I’m now stepping into my own and asking for something that’s hard, humbling, and full of hope: help.

Motherhood has always been my dream. I chose not to wait for “someday”-I knew I had the love, the strength, and the support to build a family on my own. But the road has been longer and harder than I ever imagined.

Along the way, I’ve undergone laparoscopies, hysteroscopies, and excision surgery for endometriosis. I’ve been through multiple IUIs, a challenging egg retrieval, and failed frozen embryo transfers. I’ve faced a seemingly endless stream of injections, blood draws, and sleepless nights filled with both hope and heartbreak. Most recently, I turned to embryo adoption—where six frozen embryos now represent the future I’ve been fighting for all these years.

Every step has come with courage. Every setback has demanded resilience. And through it all, I’ve held on to this dream with everything I have.

But living in Montana adds another challenge. Fertility care and resources are limited—with only one IVF doctor and clinic in-state. This has meant additional costs of travel out of state for treatment and a second opinion. The emotional toll is one thing; the financial cost is another. Flights, lodging, time off work—it all adds up. And despite my best efforts, the weight of it all is now more than I can carry alone.

That’s why I’m here. To ask for support—so I can continue this journey. So I can give these embryos a chance at life. So I can become the mom I’ve always been in my heart.
